today was wierd. school kinda sucked. i am pretty sure i failed the science test. damon is gone!! WOO HOO! but i was gonna git a ride homw with eric but brad came to school then ian said jake smith you come with me so i did and stephaine and ian and me drove around to kmart where i got a cd. slipknot 9.o live. good stuff. then we went to bestbuy and ian got some dkm. then we went and got hermes who got a state ring. then visited lizzie. then came to play basketball at my house. then josh came over and finally we wandered inside where we started a poker game. then poker got old so i got apples to apples and we played that and ate and drank (soda) for a long time. ian called someone is louisiana and they were black and he said the n-bomb and the b-bomb a whole lot and some guy called back so i had to be the father and he wanted to call the police but i talked him out of it with my wit and charm. hands hurt. later mo-fos |

so today we ahd that auction. i love steve platt and all who associate with him. i love super nintendo so much. on super punch out in the major circuit there is a guy named bob charlie who is jamacian. it made me laugh. but in all seriousness N64 and super nintendo rule like god. so does link. yes link from the legend of zelda. i love him. i want to be him. tommorow i think we are going to get the tickets for the strokes and eagles of death metal. i am excited. we are probably going to wait outside in the cold for no reason. i have to call lizzie tommrow bc she can use the phone finally. yay. i am black. today i walked to brads house and my mom drove right past me and didnt realize that i was her only son. i can feel the warm love and attention. i love hockey. today i watched it for the 1st time in a while. it made me happy. i think im done for today. later |

This is Lou!! I'm hear to teach Jake Smith the basics of how to use Livejournal. So, let's begin since this isn't my first time writing this entry.
(Note: I am replacing all ">" "<" with brackets! When you write it yourself, you have to put the html inside the arrows)
Let's start with getting pictures into your entries. It's really simple. With a picture you uploaded onto Photobucket, all you have to do is copy and paste the "Tag" in here. Like this:
Now I'll teach you a Livejournal cut. All this does it put the html under a little link on your front page to make your journal a little more organized. You can do this by putting [lj-cut] at the beginning of your html, and [/lj-cut] at the end. You can even get fancy and put text in there. For that, you put it [lj-cut text="Like this!!"] So let's try:

Livejournal cuts are usually longer than that.. but.. that's okay. So, we've covered photos and cuts. Are we done? Of course not! I'll make you a chart for how to make your text:
